Your donation allows us to provide our young scholars with a strong learning environment. Although A Better Chance of Andover is an affiliate of the national A Better Chance Inc., we are a financially independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Over half of our funding comes from individual donations from the citizens of Andover.
Gifts large and small are all appreciated. All donations are tax-deductible.
Volunteer
You can make a difference. A Better Chance of Andover is self-supporting, managed by a volunteer board of directors and relies on the support of our community volunteers.
There are many ways to participate whether you want to serve as a host family for a scholar, volunteer on an ongoing basis or give a few hours here and there. We welcome a wide range of talents, from tutoring to helping at events to creating fabulous auction gift baskets!

Host a Scholar
Our host family program is an important link between the Scholars and the community. Each Scholar is welcomed into the family’s home as a member of the family every Wednesday evening for dinner along with one weekend a month.
Raise Funds as B & B Host
The ABC Bed & Breakfast program offers unique, home-based lodging to Phillips Academy visitors. You can be a B&B host with proceeds from guests contributing directly to ABC.
