Although affiliated with the national program, A Better Chance of Andover is self-supporting and managed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We depend upon volunteers from the community for the success of our program.

Communications Director
Are you a marketing or communications professional looking for a way to have a significant impact on a cause that you care about? Come lead our marketing and communications committee.

Host Families
An important component of our Scholar experience, these families host their assigned scholar once a week for dinner and once a month for a weekend. This is a 4-year commitment. Learn more on becoming a host family.
Grant Application Writers
While experienced is valued, we welcome anyone willing to learn this important skill.
Marketing Coordinator
Coordinate the development and execution of communications including digital newsletters, print communications and social media.
Academic Advisors
These volunteers work as advocates for our Scholars guiding them to a successful academic career at Andover High including coursework, extra-curricular activities and enrichment opportunities. This is a 4 year commitment.
Drivers
Drivers are needed for 3-6:30 PM weekdays for after school activities, as well as some evening and weekend driving.
